Mila Cartwright is an illustrator and book designer. Her creative practice uses illustration to navigate important issues such as mental illness, to create awareness and provide comfort.
‘A Good Life’ is her first book and the concluding project of her master's degree. Illustrating the life and special bond between Jack Russel, Chuckles and her Sister, Meghan. Highlighting the importance and brevity of our relationships with dogs.
Follow the wonderful life of Chuckles, The Jack Russel. Named after South Africa’s version of a Malteser, watch how this special dog surrounds his owner's life with love and adventure. As they grow together and a new chapter begins.
Mila is now looking to pursue a career in publishing as a book cover designer.
