Abigail Hope Finch MA Design: Illustration
I am a Manchester based illustrator who enjoys exploring social and political themes within my work. For the duration of my masters i have worked with residents from Hulme who have been left isolated and disassociated from society due to the redevelopment or the area and universities. Together with local poet Tina Cribbin i have created a body of work that gives a voice to a forgotten generation, highlighting the harsh realities of many Hulme Residents living in social housing today. The work seeks to educate and inform the wider community, a catalyst for positive change in the Hulme area and beyond.
