My practice explores the theme of materiality and the aging process. A fascination in my own wrinkling skin and the beauty of creased, crumpled and enhanced paper has lead to further exploration and realisation of intentions. The initial creation of textural marks using methods such as driving over or sleeping on paper leads to the enhancing and detailing second stage. The process is of equal if not more importance as the product.
