I am a textiles artist, exploring the use of language within my work as a means of communication and expression. The idea for a piece of work will often start with a fleeting thought; a few words which are then turned into textile art, but through the long process of cutting out letters and stitching them permanently onto fabric it ends up giving the feeling a strong meaning and attachment to me.
