I believe that fashion denotes as much more than the clothes on your back. Fashion is expression, identity, art, and a true form of self discovery. Fashion feeds into so many areas of life and is a reflection of the wider culture in many areas. With an avid interest in gender and race equality and a devoted LGBTQIA+ ally, I have centered my postgraduate work to empowering and uplifting these groups through academic work. Throughout my postgraduate degree, I have told these stories where I see fit and posited suggestions to the fashion industry on how it can be a more inclusive and accepting industry. By embarking on a career in Fashion marketing, I feel I can take the research I've found through my postgraduate degree to real worls scenarios and hope to help company's deliver positive messaging and taking the right steps to achieve an inclusive industry.
