Taylor Olson

A journey of identification within feminism, a rebellion to the mainstream perception, my practice works to normalize the many faces of feminist, disrupting the black and white perspective of the word. Provoked by the universal interpretation of identifying as a feminist, I worked to create a space where diverse thoughts and opinions are heard, not just the ones that are being portrayed in mainstream media. This project is not about fixing a problem, but instead an aim to open dialogue on thought inspiring feminist ideas.

Cataloguing my experiences as a feminist, I’ve joined my background in graphic design with a raw and unpolished approach to craft to create an honest piece of work.
