Lyndsey Wilson

A love letter to fun, creativity, individuality and imagination. My practice combines my passion for storytelling and narratives with influences from folklore, literature and ephemera to create unconventional storytelling experiences, which are designed to engage the viewer with narratives off the page, through a mixture of mediums and materials. Currently my practice revolves around creating three dimensional prop-like pieces with accompanying two dimensional imagery, which embellish self-written narratives that pull strongly on my own curiosity. Taking inspiration from richly diverse concepts and whimsical themes, I playfully utilise everything available to craft and develop responses, creating a sense of magic from the ordinary.
