Thomas David (She/They) is a [Queer (Art | Fashion Director ) | Illustrator & 3D Artist], originating from Hull, having a passion for fashion, illustration, branding, and art direction. Through their work they explore a variety of different disciplines looking into an array of narratives, socio-political issues, (themes of nostalgia, queer culture, and personal biography), their eclectic styles, and concepts allow them to create elaborate and surreal visuals and illustrations that showcase their humour and articulate their understanding of life & personal background.
During their MA in Art Direction - Thomas has experimented with an array of multi-disciplinary techniques using (AI, Fashion Illustration, Interior Design, Virtual Reality, Music). Further expanding their surrealist style and queer narrative into a plethora of work. Experimenting with everything to convey their messages to a vast audience spaning multiple mediums.
In their final project - 'Paradise of Parasites' is a collection that transcends the boundaries of fashion, art and identity. In this Audacious and evocative journey they delves deep into the complexities of the queer experience, surrealism and the power of self-expression. The collection includes 100+ surreal fashion illustrations each diving deeper into the queer experience set in a 200+ page hard cover glossy book.
