I like to base my practice on icons, subjects, spaces and objects from folklores and stories. I am interested in the key themes and repeating imagery that are found throughout, and try to take these stories apart using oil paint to show a distilled version of these narratives. Focusing on the basic compents of a folklore or superstition allows you as a viewer to create your own links between paintings, and own interpretation of the story behind it.
