Always the Tourist never the Bride is an ongoing project in which I use the camera as therapist and biographer. These works capture both real and fictional histories, the people I was and those I wanted to be. The idea of masks is alluring, Whilst the fear of showing the authentic ensures they are both impostors. I have used photography to explore my own identity. Through the camera these real and fictional people and lives are lived, however briefly. I will continue to live out these fictional and real biographies in front of the camera until I have exhausted all the parts that make up who I am, could have been and want to be.
