As a mixed media artist I often use a verity of approaches within my practice, from poetry to welding and everything in between, while investigating different topics from trauma to the mundane, while navigating life as a neurodivergent artist, exploring the link between the art world and everyday life.
Recently I have been taking the mundane and making small changes to create something new entirely. I thought a lot about comparing myself as a person to the mundane, sometimes we can feel insignificant and overlooked, we can feel small and unimportant, but when we take a moment to stop and look there is beauty all around us, even in the most ordinary things.
