MA Illustration
A playful, experimental image-maker, my creative practice is shaped by my love for underground cultures and current affairs, and I enjoy creating fun characters and humorous narratives within my work. Using a dynamic mix of hand-rendered and digital mediums such as a drawing, collage and printmaking, this work oftens takes shape as editorial illustration and print design.
My time on the MA Illustration course culminated with a self-direct project where I designed an illustrated newspaper that serves as a remedy to the doom and gloom of the negative news that populates mainstream media channels. Chock-a-block with playful drawings, collage and comics, my broadsheet entitled F-U-News, is a fun spin on the traditional (but often miserable) newspaper.
