Matthew Bamber

Matthew Bamber is a UK based artist working in photography, installation and digital collage. His practice re-presents personal and found imagery exploring themes of poverty, greed and violence. Collected materials go through a process of physical and digital manipulation before being re-photographed to create multi-layered singular images, echoing the language of Baroque and still-life. He is interested in the obsessive contemplation and consumption of violent imagery in the twenty-first century.
