Bethany Costerd’s ceramic sculptures are influenced by her insatiable desire to build upwards. The artworks are either supports in themselves or displayed in precarious ways, lacking structural integrity. This insatiability she likens to childhood fantasies of building her own theme park and time spent impatiently building structures with wooden blocks that inevitably collapse.
