Scot William John Hornby

Over the course of the MA my practice has developed into a Surface Pattern collection. My work explores ideas of identity, loss and the human condition. I explore these through different approaches such as using scientific techniques to explore the body while also exploring human emotion and thoughts through symbolism and imagery. My work plays with ideas of duality and often contains contrasting and conflicting themes and ideologies.
