Sarah Louise Hawkins

I am an artist working predominantly with sculpture and installation. I make use of the materials of our contemporary industrial landscape - such as wire mesh, plastic and wood - to make architectonic structures and geometric constructions of repeated grid patterns and forms. My current body of work is fundamentally driven by my interest in colour, form, material, space, and is influenced in part by Minimalist ideas of simplicity, order, repetition and linearity.
