I corrupt, agitate and interfere as a process of challenging designs and concepts.
Capturing audio from recordings, synthesis or sampling, initiates the creative process.
Converting the audio to Open Sound Code(OSC) protocols, the aestheticization of the signals takes place when 'live' data is fed into various algorithms. Careful modulation of specific variables and parameters via changes within the audio, allows for critical interference and controlled corruption of the algorithms.
This process introduces the user into my relationship with sound and code.
The work on display uses authentic sounds recorded from the city of Manchester using binaural microphones.
