My practice focuses on human senses and interaction with a product, how varied materials or features are used in simple and complex products giving it that uniqueness and personalised touch. My work has been around sound and using sound to inform a product. My final project focusses on bicycle riding safety and using vibrations as a medium of sound to design a safety gear.

Currently the trend of cycling has increased. Many people ride around wearing headphones, cutting themselves off from their environment. Other safety issues include moving traffic on roads, and regardless of the availability of cycle lanes accidents are prone to occur.

My design solution is a safety gear which uses vibrations in different frequencies to make aware the rider of oncoming traffic and light signals in turn to make aware the traffic of cyclists on road.
