Louisa Hammond

Louisa Hammond is a textile artist and sometimes tutor. Her arts practice tells the stories of vulnerable people who are often misrepresented. Recently her work has focused on mental health. This stems from a personal journey of recovery of the artist herself.

Louisa loves the stories that can be told through textiles and stitch. The choice of materials and methods are important to her practice. Rather than relying on a specific technique, Louisa chooses her methodology to best communicate the message of the artwork.
