In an alien environment, moods are magnified. Be away from my hometown and family, I started to use my own way to get along with my moods. I like using phrases which are used to describe the sky as the metaphor for the mood. There are many similarities between them. They both envelop us and influence us in a different way. They are significant but often easily be ignored. Also, they are changeable, sometimes clear like after washed, sometimes dark, grey or foggy. During the process of looking at the sky, I could communicate with myself and catch the changing of the mood carefully. I try to use a rational way to treat my perceptual moments. In this work, a serious and scientific attitude is added to the action of observing my mood. The colour collection stores my own moods and related memories. I’d like to share this process how the sky healed me and reflect my moods. However, the same sky gives us different feelings. These colours might remind you of your unique experience. I’m also willing to hear your own story. Please pick a slide, observe it, and record it.
