Aseel Nasir Bseso
Aseel Bseso’s project embraces her creative adventure during the MA, which was driven by experiential learning and exploring the distinctive qualities which are associated with interiors. She started her research with an interest in investigating and critically evaluating the theories behind parametric architecture, generative design, digital fabrication and their aspects to enhance interior spaces.
Her intention was to introduce new methods in expressing the Islamic/Arabic aesthetics within the parametric and generative design. This Decorative language evolved into functional interior elements, which took her towards exploring deployable structures. This then led her to move between the digital and physical world and experience what she has always dreamt of doing but never had the courage or knowledge to do: producing interactive proposals.
