I am interested in using concepts of temporariness and processes of restructuring meaning within the landscape as catalysts for reprogramming the relationship between anthropogenic and biotic systems. Utilising the location at Stanlow Refinery my design work redefines the industrial infrastructure as a cultural instrument, utilising its agency to forge multiple relationships in time and space. This redefinition of process and place adds a new layer to the landscape palimpsest and in doing so further contributes to the complexity and resilience of existing infrastructures.
