In the late 20th, Jean Baudrillard's Theory of Simulation anticipated the possibility of a 'new world' has provided exciting means to explore the Internet's existence theoretically. In the 21st century, Internet has done more than just networks the globe. It has created a hyper-real terrain that we can conduct our lives within and it has gradually superseded the physical reality. Our life and who we are are becoming more complex as technology progresses. Having realized this, my work is dedicated to explore the post-human and virtual environments in digital age, in order to design a new aesthetics for fashion direction. My interest grows into how technological evolution affects our perception of beauty and human-image in the digital age such as online avatars and social media profiles and in turn influence fashion aesthetics concept.
