My Work focusses on integrally connecting biocentric and anthropocentric processes, for the sustainable longevity of each condition.
Proposing sustainable landscape management and design strategies for a municipality within central Portugal, as an innovative solution to combat desertification. Regenerating relationships between biocentric and anthropocentric conditions to create a mutual synergy and allowing flexibility to be a key organising infrastructure of integrated systems.
My thesis focused on ecosystem services and the contribution they can make in supporting a more sustainable form of urbanism. Providing argument for their inclusion within the urban condition, with relevance to population rise and urban growth rate, at both current and predicted trends.
