The organic quality of my work had developed while I was convalescing and working with wire on a very small scale. The results revealed certain questions which I wished to reflect on, namely, the extent to which the craft of the actual making process is given emphasis against the balance and form of the work. This process was allowing me to move beyond metaphor and into something which is more directly experienced. However the agency of making the piece and being present could lead to some narrative which I was yet to explore, as was finding the appropriate scale for each piece. I have continued to use  a repetitive movement of knotting, while remaining in the moment, a kind of meditation space. The work could be considered a trace of my movements, that which remains.
