My future goals within the fashion industry are to champion sustainable fashion, try to slow down fashion and educating about how the small things we can do as designers can create positive change. How could I as a designer make a difference to this condition, could I create ideas and solutions to help this situation, we all have a responsibility to our planet to make moves however small they may be. My concept of one piece zero waste cutting was based on thinking about how much fabric is thrown away when we make clothes. This idea that we could make use of the waste and make this part of the design. By creating these small changes in our design thinking we can start a chain reaction of positive change.
