Saiful Mazlan
Saiful Aziman Mazlan, one of Malaysian Indie Filmmakers who really loves to experiment and test his creativity in Filmmaking in different ways. Since he had strong interest in making action-thriller film, he decided to create a new dimension of the genre by putting them as in Stereoscopic-3D format for his upcoming major project.
Split-3D was his first attempt in making an action-thriller short film in Stereoscopic-3D as he was trying to seek the potential of 3D in telling a story that makes the audience senses the visual intensity. Using Identity Theft as the main theme, SPLIT-3D conveys a story about Justin, an unemployed man has been arrested and tortured by a loan-shark and triad leader known as Maverix, who was looking for something from him. As Justin was too desperate and had no choice, he accepted and risked his own life by helping Maverix, who offered him a high-paid job to achieve his own mission.
