For me, the comics medium is the most suitable outlet to tell the stories I want, using the set of skills I have. Initially I was most interested in using character and location design with story writing to produce a plan that could later be used to create the story I envisaged. However, I've become more and more interested in the inner workings of the comics medium itself and I've moved on to using comics as part of my research process; actually making comics and testing techniques to see how they can be used to communicate an idea, feeling or mood to the reader using this unique blend of static sequential images and text.
I'm finally moving my "Keter" story concept into the medium I originally planned it for. With it I want to tell an entertaining story but also look at issues such as race, gender, evolution and religion.
