Gillian Ludlow

I'm originally from Croydon, South East London, and moved up to the North West eight years ago. I've always had an interest in creating things and to begin with it was making handmade cards. This interest lead me back to college (Southport College) to complete a course in Art and Design. I then went on to complete a degree in Graphic Design at the University of Bolton, which lead me here to do a Masters degree.

My practice is concerned with the function, form and use of colour within identity (logo) and typography design. The typeface you see in the images was designed for my Masters course and was inspired by the London Underground logo.

Other than design, my interests include supporting football (Bolton Wanderers) and music. I play the piano and guitar, my favourite band are Bon Jovi.
