Filmmaking is an exciting field for me, because different art forms are combined and given a new relevance and an incredible emotional potential. I am interested in all areas of filmmaking and feel that directing is where they all converge. Besides fictional storytelling, I also enjoy working on animation and documentaries, as well as other art like photography, painting and music. In my final project, as in my work in general, I use a strong visual language which aims to make the audience "feel" the story, rather than "think" it, and so I want my films to be about universal themes that everyone can easily identify with.
