Bolanle Akande
This fim is inspired by my background as a skilled migrant from Nigeria living in UK. My Film explores joblessness as a major avenue to poverty in the life of a skilled migrant living in United Kingdom. With the use of a dream sequence i gave my protagonist the luxury he always wanted but does not have in real life. With love as the main theme interwoven with poverty running simultaneously through the fim. I also Injected racism into the fim as a subject that still exists in modern day United Kingdom.
