I am a filmmaker, working primarily in documentary, but also interested in narrative film, multi-media, theatre and performance. My documentary for my MA project explores the work of playwrights who wrote in support of the suffragette movement a century ago. Through archive footage, dramatisation of one of the plays and interviews with experts, the film asks why these plays and playwrights have been forgotten and why they should be remembered and celebrated today.
